Biodegradable mulch mat is an innovative weed control mat that is UV stable and does not require additional coating.

Mesh is 100% biodegradable and compostable. Made from natural plant fibres. Promotes the growth of newly planted plants and trees. A very good alternative to polymeric fibre lawn mats and herbicides.

Expected lifetime 3-5 years: the mat will degrade completely under temperature and humidity.

Thickness 157 g/m2. On rolls 2x100m.

Usage

Landscaping (shrubs, other plants), perennial small plants (strawberries, blueberries, etc.), flowers, etc., around planting trees, greenhouse plants.

It protects the soil from erosion when installed on slopes.

Installation

1. Clear the planting area of weeds and level the substrate.
2. Carefully secure the mat with U-shaped fastening clips and dig the edges of the mat into the soil (min 10 cm deep).
3. Make Y-shaped incisions for the seedlings.
4. After planting, close the edges of the incisions properly and, if necessary, seal with fastening clips.
