HDPE GEOMEMBRANE
Geomembrane is manufactured only from technically selected, high quality grades of HDPE-PP-LDPE under carefully controlled proven extrusion technology. In addition, the geomembrane is stabilised against UV radiation and supplied in widths of 5,1 and 8,0 metres. Geomembranes withstand the effects of chemicals, acid, alkaline and salt solutions. The geomembrane is not affected by mildew and micro-organisms. Furthermore, the geomembrane cannot be penetrated by the roots from surrounding vegetation. The quality of drinking water is not affected by the use of geomembrane.
Arguments for JUNIFOL:
• wide width – fast and easy installation
• mechanical rigidity and smooth surface – protects surface finishes and prevents propagation of cracks in concrete floors
• insulating properties – controls the moisture content of concrete floors
• radon barrier – protects buildings from radon
• installation of membrane and the concrete work can be executed in parallel – min. risk of damaging the membrane
• life time

Applications:
• bottom seals for communal landfills
• capping of communal landfills
• cesspools / tanks used to retain industrial and agriculture waste waters
• insulation of reserve tanks foundations
• insulation of car parks, petrol stations, motorways to prevent groundwater contamination
• protection against leakage of water from lakes, seas, river slopes, river canals, drinking water tanks and utility water tanks
• irrigation canals, weir and dam insulation
• insulation of tunnels, bridges, viaducts etc.
• insulation for construction industry
NB! To protect membrane from sharp stones and other detriments, it’s recommended to deploy a textile under the membrane.
